TI8 Short Film Contest open for submissions!

It's become customary for Valve to hold a Short Film Contest at every TI, and The International 2018 will be no different. This year's contest has been announced, so it's time to look back at past winners! Valve announced this year's contest via a post on the Dota 2 Blog. The contest will be very similar to past years. To enter, you'll need to submit your video to the Workshop before the start of the TI main event (this year's deadline is the 04:00 PDT August 7). An entry must be 90 seconds or less and use any technique you like - Source Filmmaker, hand-drawn animation, live action, claymation - be creative!



In case you're looking for inspiration, here are a few finalists from past contests - including the winners from the last three years running - all made by Maxime "MaxOfS2D" Lebled, an artist known for his work in SFM and as a prolific creator of sets, couriers and more in Dota 2.
