On the other side of the bracket it was the North American squad of VGJ that was able to beat first The Final Tribe and then Fnatic. So the Grand Finals were set: Keen Gaming vs. VGJ.Storm.
Third NA Minor winner

Although Keen Gaming was the favourite after beating Secret and EG, VGJ didn't show any flaws in their game. In both games they played with Tusk for Arif 'MSS' Anwar and Abaddon for JingJun 'Sneyking' Wu - the perfect win condition.
The newest addition Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok had a great performance on Visage and Gyrocopter and made the dream of a Minor win come true.
That said VGJ is the third North American squad that was able to win a Minor tournament in this DPC. First EG won the GESC addition in Jakarta and later OpTic Gaming won Starladder | ImbaTV Invitational #5.
Can they take this boost to the Major?
So proud of the boys @Team_VGJ on our first championship, something no one can ever take away from these guys @Clairvoyance102 @MSSDota @SVGDota @_Sneyking @YawaR_YS @Resolut1on_ ! We’ll still need to grow a lot for mdl and beyond !

Although the team has more than one reason now to celebrate the event in Thailand, the next Major is already close: there is only one day between both tournaments. This day won't give that much time to relax, since they still have to travel to Changsha, which is in the middle of China.
At least the jetlag won't be a problem for the last Minor winner of the season.
Can they show a good performance in the upcoming MDL Major?
