Mineski proved today that they've still got what it takes to dominate the Southeast Asian scene. They sat out a couple of qualifiers thanks to direct invites to both ESL One Katowice 2018 and The Bucharest Major 2018 but now they've beaten 
TNC Predator in the upper bracket final of the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 SEA qualifier and taken the first of two qualifier slots for their region.
Mineski made their entire qualifier run through the upper bracket, dropping just one game along the way to
Execration. In the game they lost, Execration used the power of Tinker and Phantom Lancer to overwhelm their opponents, but a simple Tinker ban in the first phase of the third game was enough to secure Mineski the series win.Their best-of-three deciding match against
TNC Predator was rather one-sided thanks to a Game 1 stomp in which Mineski took 26 kills to TNC's 3. With very few AOE abilities to stop him, Kam 'Moon' Boon Seng's Templar Assassin had next to no threats and was able to take over the game.TNC played for the late game in Game 2 with Bounty Hunter to fill the coffers with Track gold and a Medusa for that late game power. However, they couldn't sustain enough momentum to get there. With Nana's incredibly tanky Death Prophet on the front lines, Mineski ended the second game in just under 40 minutes.
