Natus Vincere have announced today that they will be replacing Akbar 'SoNNeikO' Butaev.
Source: Na`Vi's official announcementSonneiko is a Na`Vi veteran, having spent a combined total of almost two and a half years and played 496 games with the organization. He first joined the team in early 2015 as a promising support player and a fresh face in the CIS scene but was dropped in November 2016 after Na`Vi struggled hard in The Boston Major qualifiers. He rejoined in April 2017 and has been a part of some promising developments for the squad including the somewhat recent 4th place finish at DreamLeague Season 8 and 3rd/4th at Mars Media Dota 2 League: Macau 2017.
Na`Vi have not announced who will be replacing Sonneiko in the team for the upcoming season, but they say that the new addition will be a nnounced by February 5th, implying that they are aiming to lock in the squad before the roster lock deadline.
According to the announcement, Sonneiko's contract ends February 28th but Na`Vi say they are open to offers to buy him out before that date.
