The longest break between Dota 2 Majors and Minors for the next several months is coming up next week, but first we've got the Starladder | i-League Invitational #4 Minor to enjoy.

Like many of the previous Majors and Minors in 2017, StarLadder is an eight-team event with just two direct invites and six qualifier squads. The South American slot was originally won by br SG e-sports, but they dropped out on Jan 1 and were replaced by pe Infamous, who won a decider match against fellow semifinalist pe Sacred*.

Watching live might be a bit tricky depending on where you live since the LAN event is taking place in Shanghai, China. Start times for the first two days of groups are 5 CET, 23 EST, 20 PST and 12 CST (local time), but those times shift two hours earlier for Saturday and Sunday (3 CET, 21 CET, 18 CET and 10 local.)

Judging by photos from media day, we're in for some colourful side content from the event. For instance, we're pretty sure this is a photo of Linus 'Limmp' Blomdin wearing a crab hat and shooting a money gun.

Just finished up media day, was actually pretty fun to mess around with some Chinese New Year Props pic.twitter.com/389GaTLMfT— Chef Josh (@TheEsportsChef) January 31, 2018

"Dude, that table wasn't edible for sure"
