New Year, new you, new* Arcana

It's a brand new year but Betting King remains a constant. December may have been one of the quieter months, but January is going to be packed with qualifiers as the road to TI8 really heats up.

Once again, we're offering an Arcana of choice* to each of the top three bettors at the end of the month. Want to know how exactly the competition works? Read on!

Betting on Dota 2 matches on joinDOTA is completely free. All you need is an account and a keen mind. Once you've logged in to your account, you can find matches to place bets on either by heading straight to a match page through the ticker, sidebar or otherwise. If you want to see a list of matches open for betting, you can head to the Open Bets page.

There's always tough competition for the top three spots on our Betranking, but if you manage to get enough bets correct by the end of the month, you'll be one of our lucky three new Arcana owners.

*As always, we need to add that we cannot award anyone the Io Arcana, as it was aquired solely through the TI7 Battle Pass.
