OG win their first Pro Circuit event
The last time OG won a LAN Finals was back in April at the Kiev Major but today they secured their first Pro Circuit title with victory at the MDL Macau Minor. OG finished top of the 9 team groupstage which gave them the option to pick their semi-final opponent.
OG opted for Natus Vincere, and although the first game was close, the second game was a demolition with a rather frightening team performance from OG. Their Grand Final opponent was TNC Predator who, much like OG, had not managed to find the form that had brought them success pre-TI7.
The Grand Finals was unfortunately a bo3 not a bo5 and it was over relatively quickly. The combination of Resolut1on and N0tail was truly formidable, the decisive factor in OG finding a winning formula again according to Winter.

The Grand Finals - N0tail's Tiny 24-3 over 2 games
The Grand Finals of the MDL Macau Minor was a bo3 between OG and TNC Predator. The opening game saw more Morphling, a hero which has played a big part in the MDL Macau Minor, and which both teams had used to secure victories earlier on in the competition. Although TNC did draft Terrorblade, a solid counter to Morphling according to ODPixel's co-caster Winter, they were overrun by Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok and his Ethereal Blade.
The support was there for Reso from Gustav 's4' Magnusson's Omniknight granting him magic immunity and Tal 'Fly' Aizik's Bane isolating his victims. However, it was Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein's Tiny who really provided the perfect initiation, and TNC had little response to the Blink Avalanche followed by the Morphling burst damage from Resolut1on.
The second game TNC quickly banned out the Morphling but decided to leave the Tiny in the pool. OG picked their carry and mid last, once again choosing Tiny and this time an Invoker for Resolut1on. Another big game for n0tail on Tiny who built Heart of Tarrasque against a TNC line-up that lacked right click damage.
Great disables by S4 on Brewmaster made life difficult for TNC and OG held on to their lead comfortably to secure a 2-0 win, and a Pro Circuit Minor title.
