Race to the top! MMR Leaderboards climbing quickly, no 8k yet

Valve have ironed a few kinks in the MMR Leaderboards, and even included Leaderboard placement on Divine 5 players' badges. Now all that remains is to see who will be first in the race to 8k MMR this season. Since Leaderboards were also expanded, the top 200 players from each region get some time in the spotlight. In both China and Americas (as of the 24/11//2017 update), this means even a few 5k players are included.

Southeast Asia has the narrowest spread of MMR, with the lowest leader (

Hiew Teck 'AlaCrity' Yoong with 7.1k) just 1.1k ahead of #200. China is the most spread and currently holds the highest ranked player worldwide.

Zhang 'Eurus' Chengjun is that player, with 7.7k while China's lowest is a mere 5.9k.

David 'Moo' Hull also makes an appearance on the Chinese top 10 since he's currently there for The Perfect World Masters.

The top of the European leaderboard is, unsurprisingly, dominated by

Team Liquid, with three players in the top 10. Just like in real life,

Ivan 'MinD_ContRoL' Borislavov and

Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi are duking it out for the top spot, with MinD_ContRoL currently leading with 7.5k to 7.4k.

Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen isn't too far behind, currently sitting 6th with 7.2k.
