Another Grand Final for Team Liquid, their second of the season
It is Finals day at the DotaPit Minor and TI7 champions
Team Liquid await their challenger in the Grand FInals. The DotaPit Minor unlike the ESL One Hamburg Major last weekend is double elimination, but the lower-bracket was up until today all bo1s.
Newbee knocked out both OG and 
Virtus.pro in the lower-bracket, with Song 'Sccc' Chun making good use of Mirana's new triple jump to hunt down enemies in the two games. They will now go up against Vici Gaming who had an impressive run in the upper-bracket until yesterday when they were 2-0ed by Team Liquid.Team Liquid were winners of the Starladder i-League Season 3 Minor at the start of the season and placed top 4 at ESL One Hamburg last week. At the DotaPit Minor in Croatia Team Liquid have yet to drop a single game.
Liquid will be favourites heading into the Grand Finals as they have already beaten both of their potential opponents for the Grand Finals in the upper-bracket. Liquid have been experimenting with the new 7.07 Bane and have also been fond of Viper, who
Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen played in 3 of their 6 games so far. Surprisingly Liquid have only picked Broodmother once despite the hero never being first phase banned in their DotaPit matches, perhaps a sign that the 7.07 changes might affect the relevance one of their signature heroes of the 7.06 patch. The only time they pulled out the Brood was in game 2 versus Vici Gaming in the upper-bracket finals.
