The young midlaner came to America from the Philippines at the age of 16 earlier this year. He joined Team Onyx in January prior to their acquisition by Digital Chaos in March, after the organization dropped the roster which would later go by Thunderbirds and later Planet Odd.
As Digital Chaos, Abed's team qualified for The International 2017, where they took 9th-12th after a decent performance in the group stage followed by a second round lower bracket loss to PSG.LGD.
Digital Chaos lost Sang-Don 'FoREv' Lee and Kim 'DuBu' Duyoung immediately after TI7 when the two Korean players made their move to Immortals*. DC picked up Arif 'MSS' Anwar and David 'Moonmeander' Tan but dropped Moon just a month later, hours before the roster lock. He was replaced by Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho.
Now, Digital Chaos have made a post-roster lock change which will penalize them should they qualify for any Major or Minor before Valve unlocks rosters sometime early next year. As we've become accustomed, Digital Chaos themselves have not made any kind of announcement of the roster change. No replacement has been announced yet either.
Digital Chaos are due to compete in the ROG Masters 2017 Americas Regional Final in one week, so they'll either have to announce a replacement or find a standin very soon.
