Congratulations to @TeamLiquid + @LiquidKuroKy and shoutout to Stevie Wonder for venturing into esports and trying out observing!

The observing at the Starladder i-League Season 3 came under criticism over the 4 day event, with the SL observer missing out on the action, ganks and sometimes even smokes. Although initially frustrating the mistakes became almost comical, with OpTic Gaming's Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg unable to resist poking fun by giving a shoutout to Stevie Wonder for observing the tournament.
Sl #InvitationalS3 is over. On Monday or Tuesday will write about all fuck ups on @redditdota2

Zai's comment during the Starladder stream (from Reddit)
True to his word Starladder's main observer Alex Miloshevich made a post on Reddit earlier today, apologising for his mistakes during the event, while also trying to get feedback from the community.
Also, we had been listening to the Russian-speaking casters on the first and the second day and to the English casters on the last two days and everything became better but not that much. Also, I would like to say that the second day of the tournament was fully failed by me. Why? That’s a good question.
I received a feedback from a couple of English casters and also from Russian-speaking ones. And now, I want to ask you what I have to fix for you to feel comfortable watching my camera and not to switch on Dota TV and to switch off the stream as I am waiting for one more LAN tournament in the short term.
Peace. P.S. Was really hard to be main observer for all 4 days."
So far the responses have been generally understanding but not all of them. Alex Miloshevich also confirmed he was the observer for all 4 days of the event without a break. There were 3 matches on the first two days of the groupstage, four on the final day of the groupstage and 3 on the final day of the tournament. In general at the majority of LAN events more than 1 observer is employed however, this is not always the case.
What did you think of the observer at Starladder? Was it really that bad?
