Digital Chaos have made a last-second roster change for the new season, bringing us Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho back from his stint in Europe and removing ca David 'Moonmeander' Tan from the squad. Being captain was a humbling experience, thanks DC for the opportunity I wish the best of luck to them moving forward.— David Tan (@MoonMeanderated) October 3, 2017

As has become customary this season, Digital Chaos haven't made an official roster announcement. Moonmeander announced his departure on his personal Twitter account while DemoN's addition was revealed when he registered alongside his new teammates on Valve's Major registration website.

This leaves Moonmeander without a team for the coming months, but it doesn't mean he can't still play in Majors and Minors. If he finds a team, he could even be invited to qualifiers, but the team would win a reduced number of Qualifying Points should they reach Top 4 at any Valve event. The full ruleset around Qualifying Points may be found here.

Digital Chaos were directly invited to all five of the Major and Minor qualifiers that have taken place so far. They've yet to win one but that's not to say they haven't done well. The closest they've come was in The Perfect World Masters, where they lost 2-0 to us compLexity Gaming in the Grand Final.

Rosters locked for the season at 17:00 PDT yesterday. Digital Chaos were the last to register, just a few hours before the deadline. Rosters will remain locked through "early 2018". Valve have not given a date for the next roster shuffle period.
