DreamLeague Season 8 starts this week, don't miss out!

DreamLeague is back with a new season of League play (aka their hybrid EU/CIS Major qualifier). The first matches are scheduled for Oct 3, and we're here to give you all the details. Team Liquid

Unlike the other regional qualifiers for the DreamLeague Season 8 Major, EU and CIS have been combined to retain the League format of past DreamLeagues. The eight teams will face off over multiple weeks of round robin play, with the top four teams advancing to the Major.

There's just one hitch - Valve requires qualifiers in all six regions for a Major or Minor. DreamLeague's workaround is that if all four CIS teams come out on top of the four EU teams (or vice-versa), then the next highest ranked team from the unrepresented region will take the fourth slot instead of the actual 4th place team.

Group Stage Standings and Schedule

So far, DreamLeague have released the schedule for the first week of matches. The order of all the TBA matches in the above list are completely random, but we will fill in additional match times as DreamLeague releases more of their schedule.

The only squad from the European side playing this week will be OG, while the rest of the week will be taken up with plenty of CIS on CIS action. Game days are Oct 3, 5, 6 and 9 and the broadcast begins each day at 18:00 CEST, hosted by the meme-tastic DreamLeague crew of Sheever, SirActionSlacks, ODPixel and Fogged.
