It seems br SG e-sports couldn't get enough of Ukraine. After competing at The Kiev Major earlier this year, the squad have grabbed a spot at the Starladder | i-League Invitational #3 by coming out on top in the South American qualifier. Unlike some other event qualifiers currently running, StarLadder's consists of a double elimination bracket without any round robin stage. SG started off strong but were knocked to the lower bracket in their second match against open qualifier squad pe Luccini. They fought their way through three elimination matches to reach the Grand Final, where pe Sacred* were waiting.

DC.SA had sailed through the upper bracket, but SG made short work of them in the final match. They used the combined killing power of Bloodseeker and Arc Warden to take a very one-sided Game 1 victory. In Game 2, things got off to a slow start, but a tempo shift around the 20 minute mark and several big kills allowed SG's lead to snowball.

SG e-sports are now the third team to qualify for the StarLadder Minor, following Mineski and Na`Vi. Three more regional qualifiers have already kicked off and will wrap up by the end of this week, determining the final teams headed to Kiev in October.
