If you haven't already heard, Gamecom has recently announced an Open tournament with over $5,500 in event prizing. Be sure to sign up your team to compete for a shot at some great prizes.

Gamecom's free to enter tournament has begun open registration and comes with quite the significant prize pool. Team Captains have a shot at winning some headsets for themselves and their entire team by just entering.

If you have not yet registered your team be sure to register here.

Registration will be open until Saturday, January 5th 2013 at 8:00 PM CST with matches beginning that following Monday, January 7th and the finals scheduled to be concluding the tournament on or around the 23rd of January .

Prizes

1st Place - $2,000 in prizing
2nd Place - $1,000 in prizing
3rd Place - $500 in prizing
4th Place - 5 x Dota 2 branded GameCom 780 Dolby® 7.1 surround sound headsets
Additional Open Bracket Prizing - 5 x Dota 2 branded GameCom 780 Dolby® 7.1 surround sound headsets + 3 x Dota 2 branded GameCom Commander headsets
