Virtus.pro Dota 2 is here to stay. The full roster's contracts have been extended for over a year.

As Virtus.pro manager Roman Dvoryankin explains in the video interview, the team's exisiting contracts had been valid through the end of 2017. The new contracts, which include improved "financial terms and additional provisions," will last until "the end of 2018."

Virtus.pro will compete as one of the favourites at The International 2017 in under a month. They previously took 2nd place at The Kiev Major after playing an extremely exciting Best-of-five Grand Final against eu OG.

Such long-term commitments are rare in the Dota 2 world, where teams are often likely to go their seperate ways after The International, even with strong results.

Virtus.pro's roster:
ru Roman 'RAMZEs' Kushnarev
ua Vladimir 'No[o]ne' Minenko
ru Pavel '9pasha' Khvastunov
ua Ilya 'Lil' Ilyuk
ru Aleksey 'Solo' Berezin

Do you think that staying together for such a long time will turn out to be a good or a bad thing for the players?
