FACEIT will once again play host to the Open Qualifiers for The International and sign-ups are already open, and you have one week to gather together your forces. The 1st Open Qualifier is on the 22nd-23rd June and the 2nd Open Qualifier is on the 24th-25th June.
In case you're wondering about teams swapping regions:
To be eligible to compete in the Qualifiers of a specific region, three (3) out of five (5) players of your team need to be physically located in that specific region
This means citizenship plays no role in deciding whether you can compete in a certain regions Open Qualifiers, all you need is to have at least 3 of your players in that region. Valve expanded the number of regions from 4 to 6 for the Kiev Major and both South America and CIS will once again have their own separate qualifiers.
