This team was the organization's second foray into Dota 2, the first being in 2015. Both teams have included se Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu in the carry role, with a variety of other European team members. The newer version of the team formed in January of this year, but has been unable to qualify for any touraments.

dk Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen was dropped from the team in April, and the roster went through a series of standins before deciding on se Aydin 'INSaNIA' Sarkohi. According to NiP's announcement, "the recent results have unfortunately been below our high expectations."

Alongside the organization's recent acquisition of a spot in the League of Legends EU LCS, Ninjas in Pyjamas say that they have decided to focus their resources on LoL and CS:GO instead of Dota 2. In their statement, they call League of Legends "a more stable environment."

None of the former NiP players have made any statements on social media about whether the roster plans to stick together.

The Ninjas in Pyjamas Dota 2 roster was:
se Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu
se Michael 'm`ICKe' Vu
fi Kalle Juhanpoika 'Trixi' Saarinen
se Aydin 'INSaNIA' Sarkohi
de Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbueckers
