cn CDEC Gaming were the winners of the DOTA Summit 7 Chinese qualifer but now they will be replaced by the qualifier runner up cn PSG.LGD, who CDEC beat 3-2 in the Grand Final. Regrettably we won't be able to attend DOTA Summit 7 due to Visa issues. @LGDgaming will take our place after coming 2nd in the CN Qualifier— CDEC (@CDECgaming) June 2, 2017

The team detailed their visa issues in a second tweet, saying that two players had their visa applications rejected, and Summit rules allow for just one sub, meaning they would be unable to play.

Flyby, Shade, our captain and coach all had their visas rejected for the 2nd time this afternoon, and rules only allow for 1 sub— CDEC (@CDECgaming) June 2, 2017

For cn Xue 'September' Zhichuan this is the latest of multiple frustrating visa issues. After taking 4th place at The Manila Major with LGD, his team was directly invited to The International 2016, but when he was unable to secure a visa in time, he was replaced by cn Wang 'Banana' Jiao.

CDEC are also the second team to drop out of DOTA Summit 7. Clutch Gamers announced a few days ago that they also had visas applications rejected and would be unable to attend. Neither Clutch Gamers nor Beyond the Summit have announced who will be replacing them.

With ten days left before the start of the tournament, finding a replacement SEA team who already have visas for America could be tough.
