This year's ROG Masters will feature 27 country specific qualifiers, "the majority" of which will be local offline events, according to the Information page on the ROG Masters website. There will also be four open qualifiers in Americas, EMEA, APAC and China.

These qualifiers will feed into three regional qualifiers. Chinese players will advance straight to the next stage. These online qualifiers will narrow down the field of teams headed to the next phase, which is four offline regional finals (in the same four regions as the open qualifiers).

Teams will be directly invited to these regional finals to compete against the teams that have proven themselves so far in the earlier qualifiers. The best teams from the regional finals will advance to the Grand Final LAN event. The Grand Final will feature a prize pool of $250,000.

As for a timeline, the later offline events do not have dates yet, but the first of the country qualifiers start in early June, and the Grand Final is set for November.

Last year's ROG Masters was focused solely on Asia, but directly invited Int Fnatic and eu Team Secret to the LAN final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Team Secret went on to win the event, beating ph Execration 3-0 in the Grand Final.
