Just in time for TI season, CDEC is showing its fangs and qualifying for a LAN ahead of more established rosters. With their 3-2 victory over LGD, CDEC are headed to DOTA Summit 7. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO @CDECgaming! They are coming to LA! #dotasummit pic.twitter.com/VRWUkVaiAO— Beyond the Summit (@BeyondTheSummit) May 14, 2017

The team hasn't been in the front of many people's minds for a while now, but not all of CDEC Gaming's players are inexperienced in an international LAN environment. You might be familiar with Lin 'Son Goku' Shi Yang, who played for Invictus Gaming at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015 and later Newbee at The International 2015.

If you've only been following Dota more recently, Xue 'September' Zhichuan's name should ring a bell. He played with PSG.LGD last year and took 4th place at The Manila Major with the team, but unfortunately was unable to attend The International 2016 with his team due to visa issues.

Their carry and midlaner (Su 'Flyby' Lei and Gao 'Setsu' Zhenxiong, respectively) are very new to the scene and have so far only played in Chinese events.

Hopefully, with a little over a month to go before the event, all of CDEC's members will be able to secure visas this time around.

DOTA Summit 7 will take place at the BTS house in LA June 14th-18th.

CDEC's roster:
cn Su 'Flyby' Lei
cn Gao 'Setsu' Zhenxiong
cn Lin 'Son Goku' Shi Yang
cn Cuoyi 'Demons' Xiao
cn Xue 'September' Zhichuan
