While PENTA Sports have aquired Ad Finem eSports, the organization is not to be confused with the former players of Ad Finem, currently playing as organizationless squad "The Greeks". In their press release, PENTA name Ad Finem owners and founders Alex Mavroudis, Nikos Fotinakis and Marios Papasarantos.

The organization says they hope to use their established assets combined with Ad Finem's experience in the Dota 2 scene to build their Dota team into a top tier squad. "[Ad Finem] are going to help grow our new Dota 2 team and assist in integrating Dota 2 as asecond main title alongside CS:GO at PENTA Sports," said the organization in a press release. "The teams will benefit from using the best possible training grounds in Europe, the PENTA eSports performance center #ELZ in Berlin."

The European squad's latest result was 2nd place in the Kiev Major EU Open Qualifier #1, losing to Prodota in the final. They made it to the RO16 in Open #2, losing to Horde.

The new PENTA Sports Dota 2 roster is:
de Mathis 'Jabbz' Friesel
de Jamal 'Blazemon' Sohail
hr Dino 'dnz' Šavuk
se Max 'Mikey' Barkö
sk Oliver 'Skiter' Lepko
