Eight of the best teams in China will compete for one spot at the Manila Masters in the newly announced Chinese qualifier, which kicks off March 18. Which team will conquer the #ManilaMasters Chinese Qualifiers? The action begins this Saturday! With five direct invites (three of which have already been announced), a Filipino qualifier and now this Chinese qualifier, just one slot is left to be filled in the eight team event.

The Chinese qualifier features eight of the best teams in the region right now. With Newbee already directly invited to the event, that list is:

cn iG.Vitality
cn PSG.LGD
cn CDEC Gaming
cn VGJ.Thunder
cn Team Random*
cn Vici Gaming
cn LGD.Forever Young
cn Invictus Gaming

The fact that Wings and VG.J are involved in the Chinese qualifier and TNC Predator, Execration and Mineski are in the Filipino qualifier gives us some hints at who the next two direct invites might be.

The most obvious team to be left out from Southeast Asia is of course Team Faceless, though the final spot is harder to lock down without any information on a western qualifier at this point.

The Chinese qualifier runs March 18-22 and takes the shape of a double elimination bracket with best-of-three matches up until the best-of-five Grand Final.
