The Kiev Major was originally scheduled to happen from the 20-23rd April but this has now been moved to the 27-30th April to "help reduce potential conflicts with other tournaments". The only tournament relatively close to the original dates was DAC 2017 which is taking place on the 28th March - 4th April, which means it seems there is a strong possibility of another tournament being announced for April.
The location for the Kiev Major will be the at National Palace of Arts Ukraine, whose main concert hall has a capacity to seat 3,714. For comparison the Wang Theater used for the Boston Major could accomodate 3,500. Tickets for the event will go on sale next week, and will be available via Karabas (Not Ticketmaster).
The price for a ticket is extremely affordable, with a Day Ticket from Thursday to Saturday ₴130 ($5) and a ticket for the Grand Finals on Sunday just $15. In their newspost Valve suggested preparing your Karabas account in advance. Tickets for the Major go on sale the 22nd February at 10:00 a.m. Eastern European Time.
