Elimination Mode 3 will take place Feb 11th-17th and features eight teams battling for a piece of a $25,000 prize pool.

The return of the tournament comes with a new tweak in the rules of Elimination Mode. The basics remain the same, but the community bans have increased from 10 to 30 per day (though each person still gets to cast just 10 votes). On top of all that, Shannon “SUNSfan” Scotten gets one personal ban every day.

If we bust out our calculators, this means that just 82 heroes will be available to draft in the first game of each match, then 62 in game 2 and 42 in game 3. Only 22 heroes will remain unpicked or banned in a full three game series. Since the Grand Finals are a best of five, this rule will not apply for the final day.

The bracket for Elimination Mode 3 is slightly different from last season’s. Instead of mixing NA and EU teams, each region has their own double elimination bracket culminating in regional finals to determine one Grand Finalist from each region.

The teams are:

Europe Bracket

North America Bracket
