Even professional players can get stuck in low priority queue and over the course of the past few days players such as
Wehsing 'SingSing' Yuen,
Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev,
Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao and
Henrik 'AdmiralBulldog' Ahnberg have been having to fight their way through single draft games to return to normal ranked match making. alright im in low priority im just reporting everyone on sight you're all going down with me

Valve has attempted to address LP in the past
- Valve removed Random Draft and All Pick as options
- Required a player to WIN the LP game for it to count
- Removed the ability to report players during a game
- Required a player to WIN the LP game for it to count
- Removed the ability to report players during a game
Valve has tried to tackle low-priority in several different ways. Last year in order to complete the necessary games to get out of LP, players would play random draft and 5on5 mind. Due to each team having only 40 lives per game this meant a single game could be completed in just 15-20 minutes. Valve later changed this so that Low Priority is Single Draft only AND that you must win the low priority game in order for it to count.
Players using reports incorrectly as a way to get revenge on players they think underperformed is not a new phenomenon, but it is a key issue that could be altered in order to avoid parties ganging up on team-mates after the game ends. Reports can still be given to a player who won their last low priority game and should they get reported multiple times in the following game they can be put into low priority again.
These high profile cases could bring about changes to how to report system should function or it could simply fuel the fire further with players who often stream being reported just to see their reactions.
SingSing of course has been notorious in the past for reporting people during his own streams for comedic value but has continued to stream his low priority games over the past few days.
What do you think. Does LP need to be changed? How?
Have often do you report someone simply for playing poorly?
