joinDOTA Forum and Database mods wanted! More information inside

posted by Malystryx.GDS,
A new season will soon commence and we're looking for Dota 2 enthusiasts who would like to dedicate some of their free time to the joinDOTA community.

joinDOTA is a community website, and as such it is kept alive thanks to the efforts of our passionate volunteer staff. At the moment we have openings in two of our departments. The first is the Database/Matchticker department led by ee Eliise "Kitkat" Sermus and the second is the Forum department led by nz Robert "Woodsy" Woods. Below is a description of the volunteer positions as well an email address to send your application to. We look forward to hearing from you!

The Database crew is in charge of keeping a keen eye on everything competitive in the Dota 2 scene: from watching over how tournaments progress to gathering information on roster locks. You can join our team to ensure our readers know exactly what is going on during match days!

You will be expected to:
• Make sure the match ticker is up to date
• Keep the roster and team pages clean and tidy
• Create awesome coverage pages

If this sounds appealing and you have an eye for detail then apply by sending an e-mail to kitkat@joindota.com, introducing yourself and sharing which was your all-time favourite TI and why.

We are looking for active forum members who wish to join the joinDOTA staff community and the forum moderation team.

You will be expected to:
• Be active within the joinDOTA community and on the forum
• Post regularly and engage in discussion
• Work alongside the moderation team to improve the forum
• Know and understand all the forum rules
• Help other members of the community to follow the rules and contribute to the forum.

No MMR requirements. Please email Woodsy@joindota.com with your joinDOTA user name and a short message of what you think you could bring to the team.
