The annual All-Star match followed the cosplay contest and it involved a 10 v 10 bloodbath with a real-life captains mode to determine the teams. Also a certain Pitlord made his first appearance... The All-Star match this year followed the same format as last year, a 10 vs 10 match featuring 5 members of the public on each team. After gathering their forces from the crowd in the KeyArena, Slacks and Kaci then required some professional gamers to complete their team.





This year a swarm of pro players came to the stage, and a real-life captain's mode began! Each member of Kaci and Slack's teams got to pick the pro they wanted to play with/next to. The first player picked was dk Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein from OG, and later on he was fortunate enough to be the first player to ever try the new hero Underlord Pitlord (set for release on August 23)!



Other players picked in the beginning were se Henrik 'AdmiralBulldog' Ahnberg, ua Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin, ca Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev and sg Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang. After forming their teams the battle began and chaos obviously ensued with a 10 v 10 battle in the mid-lane. After the first couple of kills the game was paused and low and behold a new hero was added to the game, the long-awaited Underlord Pitlord! (learn more)

The match itself was quite entertaining and Loda, AdmiralBulldog, N0tail and IceiceIce did their part to add some banter to the occasion. ua Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin's Earthshaker had a good time against so many enemies while Arteezy went for a sneaky Broodmother. It was a bloodbath of a game as you would expect, and Team Slacks were winning for the majority of it thanks of course to Underlord Pitlord and one of the fans' Omniknight.

However, things took a turn when 7 of Team Slacks were dead and the best efforts of Maybe and Arteezy to win the game by going for a best race did not work out. It was a funny game although quite short, lasting less than 20 minutes after about 45 minutes of build up. Big Dick LanM
Although the Morphling was called IceIceIce it seems incredibly likely the EHOME player asked his fan to take his username so that he could play Riki himself. In the all-star game the Riki was called Big Dick LanM, and just a few minutes into the game paid tribute to a popular meme about Team Secret player Arteezy.
