For those who are unable to attend The International 6, Pubstomps are an opportunity to enjoy the heat of Dota2 action with others in your area. Last year, there were about 250 Pubstomps hosted in over 50 countries, and over 50 of them were held in Russia.
Through the Pubstomps, fans can gather together to celebrate, cheer, engage in Dota 2 related discussions or activities with others in their area... and even get a chance to win various give-aways.
That’s fun, but how can I attend it?
Valve has finally announced the registration details for the TI6 pubstomps here. For now, the places for the event are still being updated. You can submit your details to get notified about the events in your area, and after submitting you will know the location of the Pubstomps nearby, the hosting organization, the required fees and more info about the Pubstomp.
You can check out some announced Pubstomps in the listed regions below:
Russia
Yekaterinburg: Cinema Theather Colliseum, Full Main Event Pubstomp with a 24/6 LAN Party, cosplayers, giveaways, free-to-play area.
Thailand
Bangkok: One of the biggest pubstomps in the world, the Bangkok Pubstomp is back for TI6 at Siam Paragon from August 10th to August 14th! Location: Siam Paragon (BTS Siam).
Germany
Karlsruhe: After the great success of last year, the campus group ‚eSports United Karlsruhe‘, are aiming to organise the biggest Dota 2 screening in Germany. They will broadcast the last three matchdays on August 11th to 13th for fans from around the region.
UK
London: Following the success of last year, they're bringing the Final day of The Dota 2 International back to The Draft House Seething Lane. Good beer, good food and if last year's anything to go by good company, a fun atmosphere and some great Dota.
Norway
Trondheim: Witness Ti6 at Work-work.
What if I want to organize a pubstomp ?
If you are planning to organize a pubstomp yourself, feel free to register and become an "esport ambassador". This year, Valve has partnered up with Barcraft United- an organization designed to help promote and organize esports viewing events.
After registration, you need to submit some details about your experience in the related events and your contact information. By the time you verified and accepted, your event will be advertised in the pubstomp listing.
If you do hold a viewing event, adding it to the Barcraft main site will entitle you to receive a month of ad-free Twitch™ Turbo and a chance to win merchandise packages, with more perks on the way!
