joinDOTA League Season 10 has arrived!
The joinDOTA League allows you and your friends or partners in crime to sign-up for free to take part in official matches against other teams from your region. The best teams can climb the divisions to face stronger opposition, and if you want a fresh challenge for you and your 5-stack, this is a great place to start your journey.
Improvements to the Starter Division! Come one come all
The Starter Divisions are our most popular with hundreds of teams joining the fray, and for this season we will be tweaking the format. The number of teams in a group will be reduced from 10 to 8, shortening the groupstage so you can then do battle in the Mid-Season Playoffs against teams from other groups with a similar record.
Sign-ups for the joinDOTA Season 10 League end on June 21st, but if you feel your team deserves a spot in a higher division and you're willing to fight for it, make sure to sign up the Preseason Playoffs as well if you have the time for your chance to jump divisions. This should also help to avoid giant 6K stacks tearing up the Starter Division.

Ever had that feeling of deja-vu? Division 1 is back for all three regions
The Division 1 of the joinDOTA League will be making a comeback in Season 10, and has caught the attention of 10 top teams from Asia and America as well as 12 up and coming teams from Europe. Division 1 offers a platform for the champions of tomorrow to compete against regional rivals to build both their reputation and their ability.
The prizepool will be $10,000 and the format will be round-robin, with the top four finishers in each group progressing to a bubble race playoffs to be crowned champions of their region! The list of competing teams will be revealed in the near future.
Pre-playoffs! Succeed and jump divisions
Ahead of the joinDOTA League Season 10 we will be organising Preseason Playoffs, which grants all participating teams an opportunity to either jump divisions or start in a higher division if this is their first season taking part.
The Preseason Playoffs will be held from June 15-16th - don't worry it's after the Manila Major but before ESL One Frankfurt - and start each day at 12, 19 and 2 CEST for Asia, Europe, and America respectively. The Semi-finals will both be best-of-3, the victors of which will go straight to join Division 2.
Based on your standings in the Preseason Playoffs, you could jump divisions:
Grand Finalists: Rewarded with a spot in Division 2 (2 teams)
Quarter-Finalists: Rewarded with a spot in Division 3 (6 teams)
Round-of-32: Rewarded with a spot in Division 4 (24 teams)
3 wins or more (before ro32): Rewarded with a spot in Division 5.
If you want to participate in the PreSeason Playoffs simply get at least five players for your brilliant team, sign-up to the joinDOTA League Season 10 and then choose the option to join the Preseason. The PreSeason Playoffs are open to everyone but are aimed at new teams looking to find the right division for them.
TLDR: Successfully compete in the Preseason Playoffs as a new team to start in a higher division once the new JDL season begins. You can opt in to the PreSeason Playoffs after signing up your team to jDL Season 10
