Empire learn a thing or two from the Lower Bracket Kings
Empire didn't exactly have an easy path to finals. Finishing the group stage with a 6-8 record, they were placed into the lower bracket to start. Knocking out
Monkey Freedom Fighters* and Russian counterparts Vega Squadron *, they were able to secure themselves a spot in the lower bracket of Stage Two. In the lower bracket, they would go on to convincingly defeat both
Alliance and Mamas Boys*, moving on to the final where they would face OG. Terrifyingly, OG finished top of the group stages, dropping only 4 out of 14 games. During their path to the finals, they didn't drop a single game.

Their next stop is GameShow, with Russian commentator v1lat tweeting that former Navi player
Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich will be playing position 1 for them at the event. Meanwhile OG's next stop will be joinDOTA HQ in Berlin next weekend, where they will take part in The Defense Season V LAN Finals along with Team Liquid, Alliance and a fourth team to be named on Tuesday. Can OG make it 3 titles in a row? They did not face much of a challenge at the DreamLeague Season 4, but still kept their focus up.
