As Icefrog promised, the newest patch to hit Dota 2 has been announced shortly after the completion of Starseries XII. Some expected changes will launch alongside some unexpected changes... including the introduction of Winter Wyvern in Captain's Mode.


Included in this patch are decently sized nerfs to some of 6.83's most prolific heroes

, including Juggernaut, Sniper, Storm Spirit and Troll Warlord (queue applause from the community at large). Surprisingly, no changes to Vengeful Spirit, to date the most picked hero in pro Dota for 6.83.

Additionally, many items are recieving change alongside the release of seven new items

, including an upgrade for boots of travel, stacking observer and sentry wards in inventory, and more.
