Mountain Trail Challenge features solid €5000 prize pool for rising teams

The Swiss Dota Community is launching a €5000 online tournament featuring a great list of both established and up-and-coming EU teams. With the TI Qualifiers looming ahead, this is a great opportunity for both teams and viewers to compare their strengths and scope out the opposition. A very juicy €3000 is up for grabs for any team finishing ahead of the pack making this an extremely attractive proposition for the teams involved.

The Mountain Trail Challenge features several well-known participants such as MSi Dragon Battle #4 victors

Basically Unknown*,

Mamas Boys* plus Starladder Season 12 LAN finalist

London Conspiracy*. Also in attendance are

Vega Squadron * who recently bolstered their roster with the addition of two new team members in

Andrey 'Mag' Chipenko and

Aleksey 'Solo' Berezin, and look to be among the favourites to take the top spot.

Format

The tournament consists of 4 groups with each 4 teams. The top two teams of each group will advance to the second stage, which is a BO3 double-elimination bracket. A BO5 grand final on the 25th of May will determine which team goes home with the grand prize of at least €3000.
