As in the recent installments of the tournament, there will be an open qualifier in a single elimination format, which will give no less than 512 teams the opportunity to battle it out in the EIZO Cup main round and join the four invited teams.

The qualifiers will be held on the 16th-17th March, with the main event taking place immediately afterwards on the 18th-19th March. The exact times for the qualifier games are listed below.
Those are the default match times for the qualifier (CET/CEST):
- Day 1, 18:15 - Round 1
- Day 1, 19:30 - Round 2
- Day 1, 20:45 - Round 3
- Day 1, 22:00 - Round 4 (if more than 256 teams check in)
- Day 2, 18:00 - Round of 32
- Day 2, 19:15 - Round of 16
- Day 2, 20:30 - Round of 8
The Main Event
In the main event, the four invited teams will be paired with the ones that fought through the qualifier in a single-elimination bracket. The quarterfinals will take place on the first day, while the semi-finals and finals are on the second day of the event.
All games will be Best-of-One excluding the final, which will be Best-of-Three to determine who is worthy to take home the major share of the 2,000 EUR prize pool.
