Vega go all the way in MSI Dragon Battle

The surprise of the Dota Pit Season 3 qualifiers, proved it was no fluke after going all the way in the first MSI Dragon Battle to take the 1,500 EUR prize after brushing aside BSun, Moscow5 and ultimately hehe united in the Grand Finals. Although hehe looked solid and more organised than usual, dispensing with their usual chaos and mayhem.

The MSI Dragon Battle was to be a celebration of talent, with the four teams qualifying able to compete versus the four invited teams; Vega, 4ASC, Moscow5 and mYinsanity. A celebration it was, with Vega proving they are definitely the new kid on the block worthy of some acclaim, whilst hehe, a team who have been around for what seems like an eternity, finally got a new lease of life. The same can not be said for 4ASC unfortunately, who seemed like a lost cause without their founder Trixi, and who lost out to Monkey Business in the first round.

The prize pool for the MSI Dragon Battle is 2,000 EUR, with Vega picking up the 1,500 EUR, it leaves 500 EUR for hehe. Hehe will be proud of their performance in the competition, especially after their frantic base race in game 2 which forced the third game of the Grand Finals.
