It's a bad case of deja-vu for Starladder as cn Invictus Gaming and cn CDEC Gaming, the team who just last week played D2L Season 5 Finals in Las Vegas, have encountered major difficulties in getting the appropriate visas to attend the Season 11 finals in Kiev later this week. According to v1lat there is only one shot left, if not they might be forced to seek replacements.

This is not the first time that Chinese teams don't attend the Star Ladder Lan Finals, just last season both cn Vici Gaming and cn Newbee had security concerns regarding the country in which the event takes place, and they were replaced by world Cloud 9 and ru Virtus Pro.

However, there is still hope that the teams might attend the event that will feature 8 teams from all around the world fighting for a prize pool of over 120,000 dollars. The StarLadder host, v1lat, tweeted out that both parties are trying one last time tomorrow to get their visas. V1lat also tweeted that this might be the last time that the StarLadder finals take place in the CIS countries as he hopes to host future events somewhere in Europe.

UPDATE:by Power Rangers announced on their website that they will replace iG, while ua Natus Vincere will take CDEC's place. This news confirms that Chinese teams will yet again not be a part of StarLadder LAN finals.
