Arteezy of Team EG - photo from DOTA.ruWhen asked about his thoughts on why Team Tinker were not performing well Arteezy allegedly answered: "Their players aren't out-of-the-world skilled. They have strong players, but they're not way better than other players. The hype behind the team was false already, so maybe the hype got to them at the beginning. They don't have a strong support players either. When you just have average players in an average team with no leadership to add, it just becomes a shitty ass version of Liquid, that's just real talk at the end of the day. If you are expecting more, it's kind of like being fanboys. There's nothing special about them at all (...) By the way, just cause I'm criticizing other people does not mean I'm a perfect player. I have my faults."
Not the first time an RTZ Q and A climbed /r/dota2 The Canadian also apparently gave his two cents on Secret, rating them highly in comparison to EG. "I think Secret is a really strong team, but there is no way you can say they are better than us at the moment, because they haven't beaten us or only came close to beating us. I do think they a a really good team. We're both either tied for 1st (in the West) or they're 2nd and we're 1st. We're even-ish if anything."
Furthermore, according to CodemyHeroin's transcript Arteezy commented that his team were not befitting of the Starladder LAN Finals first place last month. "We didn't deserve to win. We practiced for like 30 minutes while some teams practiced more than us. But our loss in the Winners Bracket finals against Team Secret helped us in the finals. We watched replays and figured out how to counter their Tidehunter and Elder Titan combo. We wouldn't have won if we faced Na'Vi in WB finals and faced Team Secret in the grand finals."
