Alliance to withdraw to "rebuild" team

posted by GrandDesign,
Akke has publically stated that Alliance will be withdrawing from "some tournaments" as they try to "rebuild" their team, starting with a forfeit of their D2L match versus Team Tinker. With Chessie out of action since the team's trip to WCA, the failure to qualify for DreamLeague as well as poor performance overall recently, change might be around the corner.

It is not the first time Alliance have forfeited matches, with the team's sudden forfeit in the D2CL near the end of the groupstages last month ending up in all their results being nullified. The team currently only participates in the D2L and DotaCinema's Captain Draft Season2, so Alliance might "pull out" from future commitments as well.

Alliance's form has been stop and start since the addition of se Chessie and dk MiSery, with the team perpetually forced to use stand-ins. Due to se Chessie's back injury they used H4nni as a stand-in for the ESL ONE NY and Apemother for the Starladder X. Prior to this they also had to make use of se Key as a stand-in for Akke during his travel to Japan, despite it only being for one tournament, the NVIDIA GAME 24.

Recently NaVi changed their roster after a win percentage of 62% was deemed not acceptable. Alliance on the other hand have struggled much harder post TI4, with only a 48.3% win average from 28 wins and 30 losses. With Fnatic seemingly throwing in the towel on forming a team around de h4nn1, he might be a logical addition should they wish to "rebuild" their team by changing the roster.
