Renowned Southeast Asian E-Sports organization Mineski has today announced the Mineski Pro-League Grand finals (MPGL). This year’s event is set to take the stage on November 29th-30th at the ESDA sky dome in the Philippines, and boasts a prize pool of 1 million Philippine pesos ($ 22,000 USD).

“From last year’s overwhelming response coming from the community Mineski together with Gigabyte has decided to cater more suprises and bigger event for the gamers in our region. We are hoping that this could be the start of something even more bigger for Southeast Asian Dota 2 Community, “ – Marion Marcelo, MPGL commissioner

The competition itself is a record breaker for Philippine Dota 2 and one of the largest Southeast Asian tournaments to date, with the likes of Gigabyte, Steelseries and Viewsonic all sponsoring the tournament. So expect competition in the SEA scene to heat up this November as teams fight for the dominant position in the region.

The 2014 MPGL will feature the best Southeast Asian teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. With the addition of open qualifiers taking place in Australia, Korea India, and Japan. Mineski have yet to announce the final attendance list for their upcoming tournament; however expect the inclusion of premier Southeast Asian rosters from throughout the region.
