Team Immunity Announces Dota 2 Team

The Australian eSport club Team Immunity has announced that it has added a Dota 2 roster to their CS:GO, LOL, Battlefield 4, and Call of Duty teams. As Australia's first professional multi-gaming team, they hope to push their new squad to become Australia's first tier 1 team.

We are extremely excited to partner with an organisation of Team Immunity’s stature. Their commitment to not only support us in our endeavors, but to also facilitate growth for the local DotA scene as a whole really stood out for us. For too long the Oceania region has gone without a team to cheer for on the global stage, and our aim is to change that.

David "R1sk" Arnous - Captain and Support

For older Defense of the Ancient fans, especially those following the Oceania region, Team Immunity is not a new name. Their Dota 2 roster will reprise one of their former stars, Alex "Shatan" Chang. In the interim between his Dota 1 competitions with Team Immunity, Chang has rotated between teams in Hereoes of Newerth for LGD.au and Dota 2 for Natural 9.

During his time with Natural 9, he played with David “r1sk” Arnous and Darcy “Godot” Jose, both players who have been added to the Team Immunity roster.

Formerly of the compLexity Gaming HON squad, Trent “sLiCKz” Tucker will be filing into Dota 2 as Immunity's mid position. Their final player, Daniel “balls” Arnous, will presumably handling the first position.

Our joinDOTA League fans may recognize this lineup as March of Masick, which was the former name for this roster. In the joinDOTA league, they fought their way to the Division 1-2 playoffs this season, but were defeated prior to qualifying for Division 1.
