The Dota 2 community mourns the passing of Alaan 'Bamboe' Faraj. The beloved pro player and streamer Alaan 'Bamboe' Faraj seems to have passed away at the young age of 29. There is no official statement about his passing at this moment. However, with several of his friends sending their regards and his brother asking for pictures of him, unfortunately it seems to be confirmed.

There are no official details or any information regarding the cause of his death, so please refrain from spreading rumours or theories.

Bamboe was one of the most popular Dota 2 streamers and made himself a name back in the old DotA days. The iconic Dutch player was especially known for his time with mousesports and Team Zephyr. He was also part of the legendary trio together with Wehsing 'SingSing' Yuen and Janne 'Gorgc' Stefanovski which lightened up the days for countless viewers with their streams.
