Resolut1on to step away from professional Dota

Ukrainian carry and offlaner Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok announced his departure from the pro scene and the DPC. 25-year-old Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok will not compete in the upcoming DPC season. The Ukrainian announced his decision in a TwitLonger this Tuesday.

In the tweet, Resolut1on states that after nine years of professional Dota, he wants to recharge and "learn how to live every day without running after results". He further explains that he has a burnout from competing professionally and now wants to work out in which direction he wants to move forward next.



Resolut1on started his career in 2013 and has been part of various renowned organisations, such as Virtus.pro, Team Empire and OG. He is also known for the incredible Cinderella run with Digital Chaos* where they finished second at The International 2016.

During the past DPC iteration, he was part of HellRaisers who finished on first place in the DPC21: S2 - EEU Lower Division.
