As previously reported, MLG's Pro Circuit Columbus will feature Dota 2 as part of their competition titles. The eight team invitation tournament will see teams battling out for a grand total of $50,000 in prize money. This makes MLG one of the tournaments with the largest prize pool in the West outside of The International.

Five of the eight invited teams have been released. The International 2013 champions and runners-up, se Alliance and ua Na'Vi have both been invited alongside teams like eu Fnatic, us Evil Geniuses and us Team Liquid. Of the remaining teams, one will be occupied by the winner of MLG's Fall Invitational, one by the winner of MLG's North America Qualifier while the last spot is yet to be determined.

MLG Executive Vice President Adam Apicella mentions that they are looking towards a Chinese team for the last slot but it is yet to be determined an more info will be available once they have it.

MLG Columbus is scheduled to be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center from 22-24th November.
