With the lift on ACE's ruling that tier one teams cannot join tournaments below a certain treshold, more and more tournaments are being hosted in China. Sina broadcasting (China's equivalent of Twitch.TV) in cooperation with Roshan Studio is hosting their own Sina Cup Supernova Dota 2 Open tournament. This will be an online tournament with 27,000RMB (~$4,400) in prize money.

Reformed Chinese teams such as cn Invictus Gaming, cn TongFu, cn LGD-Gaming, cn RattleSnake and cn Vici-Gaming have all confirmed their participation in the Sina Cup alongside one lone South East Asia representative in ph Mineski. cn New Element and cn Ogurayui have qualified via a seperate qulifying tournament.

The first matches of the playoffs will be kicking off tomorrow at 1200 CEST. So be sure to set your alarms if you want to see some Chinese Dota back in action.
