Team Liquid struggled in their semi-final versus the fellow North-Americans of Team Dignitas, Evil Geniuses continued their perfect run through the tournament. After having won 19 games without a single loss, Evil Geniuses made it to the best-of-five with a huge momentum going their way. Nevertheless, Team Liquid's bootcamp in Las Vegas seems to start bearing fruits as they win 3-0 in a conving fashion. Especially in the early game, the team around FluffnStuff was always able to get a better trade, what made them lead in terms of gold even when the kill score was even. Overall the games were an entertaining clash between the two American powerhouses, but in the end Liquid's teamfight coordination and early game advantage was too much for Evil Geniuses to handle.
