Evil Geniuses. There are no further games scheduled for this week, as all remaining games of Groups C as well as the lower half of Groups A and B will be played out after the weekend.
The group stage will be played out in the GSL Group stage format or simply put just a mini double elimination bracket. Winning teams from the winner's bracket and loser's bracket will qualify for the LAN finals, with the schedule set up so that one team qualifies on each day of the groupstages.
As this amounts to only six qualifying teams, a seventh slot from the European leg will be fought for between the third place team of each group alongside the most successful fourth place team. Success of a team is decided based on game difference and in case of a tie, based on the season rankings.
These four teams will play a single elimination playoff for their chance at the LAN finals in Poland later in July.
