We've waited weeks. No! What am I saying! We waited our whole life for this Battle Pass. Although The International 2020 will be postponed, we still get to spend our time in Dota with the new Battle Pass - and here are our highlights:

The International Battle Pass is here to help fill this unique summer season with the epic trappings of Dota that we all know and love. Loaded full of new features and legendary rewards, the Battle Pass is your portal to unexplored riches and endless wonders as we celebrate the game and the global community that continues to help it thrive.

Guilds

Let's start with the first new feature introduced in the Battle Pass: "With the introduction of Guilds, you can join a community of like-minded players to ensure that you always have the right team at your back on that road to victory. Work together to level up your guild and you'll also earn rewards for yourself and fellow members."

Therefore, you'll be able to complete daily contracts and guild challenges. Also, whenever you join a guild, you can earn Guild Points for every game you play - "No matter which way you play, you'll be helping your guild." By collecting points you can unlock rewards.

Summer Event

The next big feature Valve introduces in the Battle Pass is the announcement for a Summer Event. Siltbreaker was a feature in 2017's Battle pass and could get a revival - or at least something similiar. So far we don't know what to expect, but it could make the Battle pass even more interesting.

Pause-Screen Playground

I'm pretty sure you know this feeling: you are in the middle of the game, a player disconnects and you need to wait for him to return - long minutes without any action. This could be over with the new pause-screen battleground.

"Anytime the match is paused, one of three different mini-games will appear to help you pass the time until all players are ready and accounted for. Try your hand at Whack-a-Meepo, Musical Chairs, and Hero Hunt. Who knows, maybe you'll never want the pause to end." Anything else we need to add?

New Personas

The Invoker Persona was one of the most interesting changes - it basically gave us a new hero with the mechanics of a known one. While we're waiting very long for the next one, Battle Pass brings us two at once: Pudge and Antimage will be Persona two and three as you can see in our article header.

While Pudge hasn't been one of the most beautiful heroes in the past, the "Toy Butcher" version is definitely aiming higher in cuteness. It's basically a small stuffed version of one of the most annoying heroes in Dota 2. Meanwhile, Anti-Mage changed to a completely different person and got a female version - and she looks very badass.

Arcanas

Do you like Arcanas for heroes? Well, here are three at once! It's the comeback of the Skeleton King - "The One True King" - which definitely gives us some old WarCraft vibes. And on top of that, Queen of Pain is the lady in red now and even Windranger has a new Arcana. We guess, Slacks isn't very happy about that?!

...and many more changes

Of course, these are not the only changes: new voicelines, new terrain and and and - there are many things to explore during this year's Battle Pass. If you want to see the complete Battle Pass, click here.

What is your highlight?
