This season can't be regarded as successful for the Malaysian legend Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung. After leaving Keen Gaming he started several small stacks, but didn't qualify for any events. His last stack Brothers United weren't successful either, but Mushi still decided to stick with three of these players to form Team IO. Benhur 'Benhur' Lawis, Chong Xin 'Ohaiyo' Khoo and Ryan Jay 'raging-potato' Qui will play together in the next round of qualifiers.

However, instead of Ng 'YamateH' Wei Poong they decided to pick the Singaporean player Galvin 'Meracle-' Kang Jian Wen. The core player tried already to find success in different regions such as China with iG.Vitality and North America under the flag of compLexity Gaming, but it didn't work out for him.

The South-East Asian qualifier won't be easy for the new stack. Teams such as TNC Predator, Fnatic and Geek Fam are powerhouses of their region - they're constantly battling for the rare DPC events.

Lineup Team IO

sg Galvin 'Meracle-' Kang Jian Wen
ph Benhur 'Benhur' Lawis
my Chong Xin 'Ohaiyo' Khoo
ph Ryan Jay 'raging-potato' Qui
my Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung

What chances do they have to make it into a DPC event?
