Dota 2 legend Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin is back with a new team: Viet Flashbacks. The famous midlaner skipped the first Major/Minor Qualifiers but is now ready to enter the DPC again. The new team already got registered on Dota 2 Majors Registration and also got posted by Ukrainian caster Vitalii 'V1lat' Volochai on his Twitter.

All players have been involved in the professional scene for many years, except for newcomer Alik 'V-Tune' Vorobey. The 19-year-old carry joined his first bigger team in 2018 and with his most recent organisation HellRaisers, he even got 3rd place at DOTA Summit 11. Under the guidance of more experienced team mates, he might be able to further his talent and look for continued success.

V1lat states that the team is apparently preparing for the upcoming Major/Minor Qualifiers. The Open Qualifiers will start on November 28th and CIS has two slots for the main tournament. Throughout the last decade, teams like Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro established themselves as one of the most dangerous and well known forces in the entire world. It now seems like the region has e lost its former shine.

In the 2019/20 DPC season, both teams have not been able to live up to their former success. With AS Monaco Gambit, a new title contender rose up to represent the CIS region. We'll have to wait and see if Viet Flashbacks is able to emulate their rise.

Do you think the team will be able to push through the Qualifiers?
