The European dominance?

This could be the perfect moment for Europe to demonstrate why they're the strongest region. Three European top teams are waiting for the EPICENTER Major to start and two more could join them. Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas are both attending the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor #2 in Kiev.

Both teams are favourites to win the event or at least make it to the Grand Finals. For the first time this season two teams will make it to the Major afterwards. We could be seeing five European teams competing for the crown in Moscow.

Who earns the points for the DPC ranking?

Eight teams have qualified for The International 2019 and four teams are going to join them, but who will make it?

At the Minor itself teams won't make enough points to save a slot. All teams competing in the Minor need more than 120 points to get a safe spot at TI9. This is why making it to the Grand Finals is the most important goal for those teams. Especially, EHOME need every single point.

Right now they're in 12th place and would qualify for TI9, but they have just 300 points more than Alliance and Mineski. This could become a tight descision in the end.

tavo leaves South America

Otávio 'tavo' Gabriel is really a top level player, but he decided to play for a Brazilian team all his career. Finally we'll see him in a new region, because he joined compLexity Gaming after his last project with Chaos Esports Club failed.

The Brazilian offlaner has learned from many different great stars and played alongside top level European pros this season.

LiL's comeback is real

Ilya 'Lil' Ilyuk is finally back in the DPC! The Ukrainian player tried to compete with several teams after he has been replaced with Vladimir 'RodjER' Nikogosyan in Virtus.pro.

Natus Vincere, Odium and other small stacks were not the right choice for Lil. But the wait is over! He joined Winstrike and qualified for the last Minor of the season. We'll see if he can actually surprise some of the established teams in his home town.

Are you thrilled for the last Minor?
